Tim L. Vasquez
Director of Veterans Services
Is a U.S. Navy veteran and joined the Veterans County Service Office in June 2005 as a VA work-study student. He became a service officer in July 2006, and the Director in May 2008. He currently serves as President for the Veterans County Service Officers Association of Texas.
Tim holds a diploma in Emergency Medical Services-Paramedic from Texas State Technical College-Sweetwater.
Tim holds certifications from the Texas Veterans Commission and is a National County Veterans Service Officer.
Laura L. Serrano
Veterans Service Officer
A U.S. Army veteran, Laura joined the office in May 2008 as a veterans service officer.
Laura holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Angelo State University and an Associate’s Degree in Computer Networking Technology from Texas State Technical College-West Texas.
Laura holds certifications and accreditations from the Texas Veterans Commission and is a National County Veterans Service Officer.
Karen Isaacs
Office Assistant
Karen joined the service office in May 2010. She retired from Angelo State University in 2001 after 28 years of service and worked for Concho Valley Council of Governments before joining this office.
She brings her work experience and love for San Angelo now to assist veterans and their families.
