MHMR of the Concho Valley is a community resource for those who are in need of mental health assistance or mental health intervention.

High Sky Children's Ranch provides the Stay Together Program at no cost to the family who needs support for an at risk child. You can reach the Stay Together Program at 1-800-922-STAY (7829).

House of Faith is a faith based organization that provides mentoring and support for the youths of San Angelo. For more information, contact House of Faith at (325) 486-8637.

The Youth Advocate Program (YAP) is used to work with youths who may be placed outside of their home in a residential treatment center. The YAP employees work with the child and the child's family to learn how to function together rather than to function seperately or against each other.

The Children's Advocacy Center is located in San Angelo and specializes in child abuse prevention and advocates for those children who have been abused or neglected. The Tom Green County Juvenile Probation Department and the Children's Advocacy Center have teamed up to provide youths with the Family Preservation Program. The program is designed to help those youngsters who are on Formal Probation and are most at risk for being removed from their home.

The West Texas Boys Ranch provides placement for young men on probation as well as for those who are in the community.

The Concho Valley Home for Girls provides placements for young women on probation as well as for those who are in the community. They can be contacted at (325) 655-3821.

The Department of Family and Protective Services (CPS) provides more intensive interventions for those youths and adults who are being abused, neglected, or exploited.

Big Brothers and Big Sisters helps children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one relationships with measurable impact by offering mentoring relationships for all children who need and want them, contributing to better schools, brighter futures, and stronger communities for all.

The Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council for the Concho Valley provides substance abuse counseling and treatment services to those in the Concho Valley who need substance abuse services.

The West Texas Training Center provides educational opportunities for youth and their families.

The Region XV (Region 15) Education Services Center provides Educational Support and services for San Angelo ISD and various surrounding counties.

The Texas Juvenile Juvenile Justice Department provides oversight for all placements that provide services for youth who have been judged to be delinquent. The Texas Juvenile Probation Commission also provides oversight for every Juvenile Probation Department in the State of Texas.

San Angelo Independent School District provides all educational services for any juvenile who is in the Tom Green County Juvenile Detention Center. A speicial education teacher who is certified to teach all levels is provided to the Detention Center by the school district.
